3:15pm Registration for Direct Members and Buyer Guests only Part 1: Interactive Discussion for Buyers only – We are talking Data, it’s a traveler managers greatest asset and greatest challenge.  Join veteran travel buyer Jennifer Steinke to share your data related challenges and discuss the search for solutions.  This interactive session will serve as a precursor for our general session,  we will take your challenges bring them back to the whole group and take a dive into how buyers and suppliers can come together to tackle Big Data and turn it Phat!

4:00pm Registration for Allied Members and Supplier Guests Part 2: Its Big Data, sure, but we're turning it Phat - Hip, Cool, Relevant, and Actionable!  With all the talk about Big Data in the world today, how can you use this to your advantage in the corporate travel and meetings industry?  There is significant opportunity to enhance the managed travel and meetings programs through utilization of the data that sits at your fingertips.  This session will give you a peek under the hood on how we can use Big Data in creative ways to impact both buyers and the suppliers.  Change the conversation about data and drive real impact in your T&E programs.  Get ready to roll up your sleeves and dig into Phat Data!

 

 

Jennifer Steinke is a veteran travel manager and currently VP Global Travel Experience at Wholdings.  Her career spans over 30 years in the corporate travel industry, having served as a Corporate Travel Buyer for Dycom Industries, ACT, US Foods, Crowley Maritime and ITT Corporation, with previous experience in travel management companies and a travel technology company.  She has a passion for preparing companies for changes in their program to become more Traveler Centric, while remaining Manager Friendly.  Her diverse background gives her a unique skill set in developing world class managed travel programs. 

Jennifer holds a Master’s in Business Administration, a B.S. in Business Management and an Associate Degree in Sign Language Interpretation as well as her GTP and CCTE designation.  She is very active in the industry and serves on multiple industry committees  and boards, including the Board of GBTA.
